A mid-19th century 30 hour longcase clock in an oak and mahogany case with an inset maple panel and satinwood inlay, swans necked pediment with lions head paterae, break arch hood door flanked by ring turned columns, trunk with a wavy topped door and canted corners, on a broad plinth with a raised panel, painted dial with floral scenes to the spandrels and a depiction of a country girl to the arch, with roman numerals and minute track, matching stamped brass “Crown” hands and counter clockwise date recorder, dial inscribed “ Thornton, Bradford”, chain driven movement striking the hours on a bell. With pendulum and one weight.
