A late 19th century c1880 mahogany cased drop dial wall clock with a 12” dial inscribed “T.MOSES, AUKLAND”, dial with Roman numerals, minute track and steel spade hands, flat glass and spun brass bezel with a silvered sight ring, 8-day fusee timepiece movement. With pendulum and key. Thomas Moses is recorded as working as a clockmaker and jeweller in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, 1838-1900.
