William Whipp of Rochdale - 30hr oak longcase clock c1790 with a flat topped pediment and blind frieze beneath, square hood door flanked by turned pilasters with wooden capitals, trunk with recessed pillars and a wavy topped door, on a square plinth raised on bracket feet, brass dial with cast spandrels and an engraved dial centre, calendar aperture and matching steel hands, chapter ring with Roman numerals, five minute Arabic's and minute track, dial pinned to a chain driven movement with a countwheel strike.
