Vander Ltd, hallmarked London 1938, whose planished finish and graceful circular form epitomize pre-war British silversmithing. Collectors will also delight in a limited edition 1972 F.I.D.E. commemorative silver chess set, created to mark the legendary Spassky–Fischer World Championship Match in Reykjavik. Numbered 38 of 650, the set combines silver, silver-gilt, and perspex with exquisite presentation, accompanied by a detailed book chronicling the match itself.The sale further includes a striking Edwardian silver desk stand (C.S.
